When I was little and asked I was “what would you like to be?”, I told them:
I would like to be a hairdresser, because I liked to comb and wash dolls heads; a flight attendant, because in my childhood, I travelled a lot by plane and it’s a form of transport that I always chose to travel; and a teacher.
The latter, it is a profession that I have always liked since I consider myself to be a responsible, happy and a loving person, and apart from that I love children a lot and I have a lot of patience.
As I grew up, I saw that my life were children. My sister and I played as if I was a teacher and gave her a piece of paper to colour, I explained what I learnt at schcool, etc.
As she grew up, I could see what she was doing at school which helped me to decide my job. I understand how important is teaching and I like thinking about having been part of their education.
So, when I finished my studies at high school, I started a vocational course on Infant Education during two years. I learnt a lot of things especially when I did the practicum subject with children from zero to six years old in a nursery. I will never forget this experience.
When I finished I was sure about what I wanted to study Infant Education at the university. I hope I will become a good teacher.
